Parish Nurse |
| The Parish Nurse is a registered nurse who is committed to helping the congregation stay well physically |
| and spiritually. The role includes wellness education, visiting parishioners, doing needs assessments, |
| counseling and acting as a liaison between physicians and patients as well as parishioners and community |
| resources. |
| Our Parish Nurse serves as a member of the ministry team. She provides weekly office hours at which |
| time she takes blood pressures and provides health counseling. She maintains a bulletin board each month |
| with a new topic and provides articles for the monthly newsletter. There are also periodic CPR classes |
| offered. |
| Office hours are every Thursday 10 a.m. till 12 noon in Room 5. |
